The ride to Amara Hotel takes approximately 20 minutes. Fares may vary depending on the provider, vehicle type, and applicable surcharges; please refer to the application for the exact cost. Both fixed-fare and metered-fare options are available.

Head to the Arrival and Ride-Hailing pick-up points at Terminals 1, 2, 3 or 4.

Taxis are available for hire at the taxi stands in the Arrival areas of Terminals 1, 2, 3 and 4.

The ride to Amara Hotel takes about 20 minutes and costs between S$25 and S$45. All fares are metered.

There is an additional Airport Surcharge for all trips originating from the Airport:

• Mon–Sun (5:00PM – 11:59PM): S$8
• All other times: S$6

Separately, midnight and peak-hour surcharges apply to taxi hires country-wide.

Midnight surcharge (50% of final metered fare):

• Mon-Sun (12:00AM – 5:59AM)

Peak-hour surcharge (25% of final metered fare):

• Mon-Fri, excluding Public Holidays (6:00AM–9:29AM)
• Sat, Sun and Public Holidays (10:00AM-1:59PM)
• Mon-Sun (5:00PM-11:59PM)

The train journey to Amara Hotel takes approximately one hour. The estimated fare is around S$2.20.

From Changi Airport MRT Station (CG2), take the train to Tanah Merah MRT Station (EW4), which is the fourth stop on the East–West Line. Train intervals at the airport range from 7 to 12 minutes.

At Tanah Merah MRT Station (EW4), remain within the station and transfer to the East–West Line platform towards Tuas Link MRT Station (EW33). Train intervals at Tanah Merah are typically 3 to 7 minutes.

Travel along the line and alight at Tanjong Pagar MRT Station (EW15). Use Exit A and walk approximately 5 minutes (about 300 metres) to reach Amara Hotel.
